Poppy Belle - A luxurious romantic full gathered skirt and bow blouse set in organic black poplin

Our luxurious Poppy Belle silhouette is a two piece set featuring a romantic full gathered skirt with a deep waistband paired beautifully with the classic style cap bow sleeve blouse, to create the flower shaped silhouette of dreams. Bringing you a timeless style that is elegant, classic and graceful.
Handcrafted with the finest organic cotton poplin fabric each piece is lovingly designed and handmade to order from our studio in the English countryside.
So why did I name this collection Poppy Belle, well since moving to the English countryside the flower that has amazed me most is the poppy. Blooming from early spring all the way to early autumn, these flowers are often used as a symbol of remembrance and a peaceful future. Known for their resilience these flowers grow bountifully in wild and dry conditions which to my surprise I would often find on my walks in the wild or even poking through the walls in my garden blessing me with beauty and wonder. Upon a closer look these poppy flowers have petals that are pleated into a funnel shape which can be seen in the fullness of the gathered skirts that make up this collection. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
